Talking Tree Jewelry is a fine jewelry collection by Gina Marie Pinzari that celebrates art, history, and adventure. Drawing inspiration from archeology, each piece offers the wearer a glimpse into forgotten tombs, at gleaming funerary objects, ancient coins and other treasure unearthed. In her Northern California studio, Gina meticulously carves each piece by hand, combining traditional and self-developed techniques. All pieces are created, cast, and set by her and a talented local team in very limited quantity. Her work is highly recognizable and is known by gallerists and collectors alike as a unique contribution to jewelry design.
Gina has been mentored by many along her path including renowned jewelers Brad Bulman, and Larry River of Heart of Gold Jewelry. She casts with the Bay Area legend Jena Hounshell. In 2020, she completed The Jewelry Loupe Project, a juried mentorship and business development program based in the Bay Area. Her pieces have been featured in the New York Times and Gem A, publication of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain.
In addition to her passion for jewelry, Gina cherishes spending time with loved ones and enjoying life's pleasures. She loves to hike, grow vegetables, and cook a delicious meal with family and friends. Island girl at heart, Gina has a deep connection to the ocean and loves the beach. She is an avid traveler, museum-goer, and medieval garden wanderer. A lifelong learner, you can often find her listening to academic lectures while carving pieces by hand in her studio, with gratitude and a great enthusiasm for being alive.
